The Perry Class Frigate model is a highly detailed, nearly scale replica built in 3ds Max 2013. It boasts realistic features, such as missiles, launchers, deck gun, radar and phalanx cannons, which animate seamlessly. Rendered with default scanline, it displays well without requiring special software. With multiple formats available for download, this model has been utilized by the United States Navy, Australian Navy, Poland, Pakistan, Taiwan, Bahrain, Egypt, Turkey, Australia, and China. Originally designed in the 1970s to replace WWII era Gearing and Sumner class Destroyers, the Perry Class Frigate is a smaller warship that's both versatile and economical for mass production. A total of 55 were built, with 51 going to the US Navy and 4 to the RAN Australian Navy.
