The Perry Class Frigate model is a highly detailed polygonal design built nearly to scale for an accurate representation of the original ship. It features realistic appearances and renders nicely without requiring any special software. The fully textured design allows for close-up views, while it was initially created in 3ds Max 2013 using default scanline rendering. Available in various formats, this model boasts animateable features such as missiles, launchers, deck gun, radar and phalanx cannons. This frigate was developed in the 70s for the US Navy to replace outdated WWII destroyers; it is a smaller warship designed for escort duty and cost-effective mass production. A total of 55 were constructed, with 11 going to Australia's Royal Australian Navy, and many other countries now operate this class of frigate, including Poland, Pakistan, Taiwan, Bahrain, Egypt, Turkey, Australia, and China.
