This version of the world-renowned Utah teapot is specifically designed to be easily printable on an FFF 3D printer. The model consists of two distinct parts: the body and the lid, which can be printed separately. Unlike its original counterpart, this teapot features a working inside spout! This innovative design allows the entire teapot to be 3D-printed in one go without requiring any additional support structures, with the exception being the built-in webbed support for the upper part of the handle. Removing this support is as simple as using a sharp knife. The original size of the model in the STL file measures 180 mm from the back of the handle to the front of the spout, but it can be scaled larger or smaller to suit your needs. If you choose to make it smaller, please ensure that the webbed support remains roughly 0.5 mm thick to maintain its structural integrity. The model shown in the image was successfully 3D-printed using PLA plastic filament on a 3D printer. The Utah Teapot has been an iconic representation of computer graphics for nearly four decades since its creation by Martin Newell at the University of Utah. It continues to be widely used and recognized in various forms of 3D software, movies, and other media.
