The human body is made up of approximately 37 trillion cells that work together to keep us alive and functioning properly. These cells are grouped into different systems such as the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. The skeletal system provides support and protection for our internal organs while also producing blood cells in our bone marrow. The muscular system allows us to move by contracting and relaxing muscle fibers.
