FFCX TFT35 Mount

This is a custom mounting bracket designed for the FlashForge Creator X used with the Big Tree Tech (BTT) TFT35 V3. It fits snugly into the display hole on the front panel, sandwiching it between two parts. The Slim and Elegant BTT TFT35 V3 Touch Screen by 3Deddy is a perfect match for this mounting bracket. The FreeCAD files are hosted on GitHub at mobilinkd's ffcx-tft35-v3-mount repository. To assemble the mount, you'll need M3 nuts, two M3x5 screws, and one M3x12 screw. A shorter screw may work if that's what's readily available. During installation, I needed longer IDC cables to reach my SKR Pro 1.1 controller board at the rear of the machine. The original 30cm cables were too short, so I purchased 50cm cables and they fit perfectly. First, build the TFT enclosure. This process requires patience and fine motor skills as you align the four spacers properly. Verify that the ball mount rotates smoothly and can be tightened down to stay in place. Next, attach the front plate to the ball mount using an M3 screw, 12mm long. Do a dry-fit with the TFT35, cables, and controller board at this stage. Remove the ball mount from the TFT enclosure, ensuring that the ball attachment nut remains on the ball end with the panel mount. Then, remove the front panel and LCD screen. Route the three cables through the case front. The M3 nuts were a press-fit into the rear part when I printed it. Sandwich the front panel between the rear plate and the front plate with the cable slot on the bottom and the cables routed through. Use the M3x5mm screws to hold the two plates together. Route the wires through the opening where the LCD screen was, and reattach the front panel. Connect the cables to the TFT35, then connect the TFT35 enclosure to the mount. Finally, connect the cables to the controller board.
