FFCP Top Lid Heat Plug
thingiverse
This is an accessory I created to complement WrinklyWink's FFCP Top Lid Covers found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1672513 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1834128. Made for printing with FLEXIBLE filament, such as TPU, this design slides over the pieces once printed. To ensure a smooth print, I held a fan on it while setting the bridge speed multiplier to 20%. If you have any tricks for flexible filament bridging, please share them in the comments below! For installation, slide the plug over the top piece of the lid cover, then attach that to the acrylic dome. Next, insert the bottom piece of the lid cover and ensure the plug's bottom pieces are aligned with the acrylic. This accessory won't make your printer airtight or safe, but it may reduce heat loss slightly or help if you're adding fume scrubbers. It was an attempt to fill a gap in the original design, so here it is!
