FFCP 32mm Spool Holder (No Supports)

There are many great spool holders available, but I spent far too much time searching for one that fits my favorite brand with a 32mm wide and 56mm long opening, specifically designed for Hatchbox. To be honest, it was worth the effort because this is exactly what I wanted. My goal was to create a spool holder that would fit any spool perfectly, no matter the brand. I chose to model my own after discovering that the AMZ3D PLA spool I have on hand has almost identical dimensions to Hatchbox according to reviews. PLEASE ROTATE MODEL 90 DEGREES ON X-AXIS (should be flat on its side on bed) Planned Revisions: Adding more width to the hanger - The opening slot on my FFCP '16 is around 50mm and this design is only 30mm wide, leaving a significant gap of 20mm. For now, I'm closing it off with tape, but I'd like to find a more elegant solution such as adding a spacer or increasing the width of the hanger section. Removing one filet - The lower filet on the inside of the upper lip designed to keep the spool from sliding off is perhaps too rounded, eating into the dimensions meant for the spool length. It may need to be shaved down by a few millimeters. I'd like to revise this in the model itself but it's not necessary right now. Decreasing economy - I learned something valuable on this project--being cheap on plastic doesn't mean lower print times. In fact, I may have increased the print time due to the additional perimeters created by hollowing out the model. It's a fine balance between cost and time, especially when you value your own time. Designed to print without supports (my favorite) and in under 2.5 hours on my FFCP16 with standard speed settings on Slic3r for Sailfish. My print time is included because I expect first-time printers will want an idea of how long they'll be investing in this print. Print Settings Printer Brand: FlashForge Printer: Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.27 Infill: 20 Notes: You can use less infill if you like, but your slicer should force 100% infill in small areas created by the hollowing of the model for added strength and orientation on the print bed. There were no issues or worries about strength at 20% infill.
