The Creator Pro filament holder has severe limitations when it comes to Flashforge specific spools. Several existing filament holders are available, but they often come with high friction issues. Many of these holders use bearings, but they tend to be complex or inflexible in use. To address this problem, I designed a new simple version with a minimum spool hole diameter of 45mm. For smaller holes, alternative bearings must be used. This innovative holder consists of just three self-built parts, two bearings, and one screw. The result is nothing short of remarkable: no tangling has occurred since its implementation. The design was inspired by several notable filament holders. I drew inspiration from the flexible low-friction holder created by DrLex (1741096), which boasts many complex components. I also took cues from Fireflynj's easy-to-use and build version (2138600), although it suffers from high friction with large heavy spools. Mark_Landsaat's very interesting version (2291172) shares similarities with the first design. To take it to the next level, I made significant changes in Version 2. The fixed part has been reinforced for more accurate mounting, and the roller has been cambered to achieve self-centering. All parts from V1 and V2 are compatible and can be used interchangeably. With the latest update, Version 3 introduces a subtle yet crucial change: the axis is rotated upwards by 3 degrees. This modification addresses the issue of spools climbing up towards the end of the axis.
