FF Creator Pro - Filament Guide Tube Jig
thingiverse
I have a FlashForge 3D creator pro model. A while ago I designed my own spool-holders for Hatchbox filament which is apparently more of a standard hub size. My spools sit about 1/2-inch from being flush with the back of the unit, to reduce friction. I found the guide tubes were prone to letting the filament pop off of the spool and get wrapped around the spool hub. I designed this as a way to direct the guide tubes to the correct location (roughly the center of the spool) without requiring any disassembly or other modification to the actual unit. Simple slip this behind the lower clips that hold the guide tube. The cable assembly has room to pass straight down the center, and the guide tubes get directed towards the center of the spool. There are other good designs different than mine on Thingiverse too, I designed mine the way I did so I wouldn't have to unclip the guide tubes at all, even though that is a very easy process. My design uses about 4 meters of filament and takes less than an hour to print at typical resolutions. Had I checked Thingiverse first, I would have probably used someone else's design to save myself an hour of design work. Since I did it though, feel free to use it. I'll attach the part file, its a SolidWorks file. The photo was a slightly earlier revision, I've nibbled away the lower corner so it won't come in contact with the spool in the posted version
