Fez Tanneries - Morocco
myminifactory
Hello to Fez, Morocco! Angelo D'Angelo is back with another fantastic model for MiniWorld inspired by his travels. The Moroccan city of Fez is renowned for its ancient tanneries, and the Chouara tannery is a standout example. This centuries-old tradition continues to thrive using the same medieval techniques. Cow, goat, and even camel hides are submerged in numerous stone containers, where they're later dyed with natural pigments to produce high-quality leather (from Wikipedia). MiniWorld is thrilled to bring this captivating model to life! This intricate design was carefully crafted from scratch in Fusion360 to ensure printability. Please give credit, as the goal is to share culture and education! MiniWorld is an extensive collection of 3D printable models featuring iconic landmarks from around the world. Location photo and model provided by collaborator Angelo D'Angelo (instagram.com/johnnytrapano & 3Dprintravel.com). The model was created in Fusion360, 3D printed on a Fabtotum using TreeD brick filament. Handcrafted with precision by @saudadinhas .
