Feyenoord coaster
pinshape
This is a drink coaster with the original Feyenoord logo. It's a gift for a friend who shares my passion for soccer and not violence! Use this coaster to enjoy your favorite drink. This standard-size coaster measures 100 by 100 by 5 mm, perfect for fitting into my coaster holders: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3130397 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3547597 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3546596 I printed this model with Ultimaker white PLA using a 0.2mm layer height and 18% infill. My extruder was set at 210 degrees Celsius, and I used a heated bed to ensure a smooth print. To prevent curling at the bottom, I added a brim. Feel free to experiment with your own settings! Design Process: I discovered a logo in my browser and converted it into an SVG file using Inkscape. I then imported the file into Blender, where I created a 3D object from it. Next, I repaired the file and removed some unwanted parts using Meshmixer. I added a coaster to the design and merged it with the logo after scaling it down. Using 123D Design, I created the drink coaster using simple modeling techniques. You can also create a template for a drink coaster in another program like Tinkercad or download one from my website (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3542555). After saving it as an STL file, I sliced it for printing. However, the model still had some issues despite repairing it in Meshmixer, so I decided to export it into Netfabb Online Service. This app has more advanced features than MakePrintable, which only offers three procedures for fixing STL files. With unlimited repair options, Netfabb Online Service was my clear choice. It worked well for me and allowed me to slice the model without any problems.
