https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FacgHqiX8w Cutting a 3mm metal fire pit with my self-built CNC plasma machine. The plasma cutter is a Hypertherm Powermax30 XP. The cutting power is 16mm. For the fire pit, I used 3mm S235 steel sheet and cut it at a speed of 1250mm/min. The cutting time per side part with the dragon is about 10 minutes. And about 12 minutes for the side part with the fire. As a control card, I installed a Mach3 breakout board bsmce04u-pp. The machine is controlled by Mach3. For programming, I use Sheetcam. The axes are driven by four Nema23 stepper motors. One for the Z-axis and one for the X-axis, and two for the Y-axis.
