This is the lower section of the FESTOOL RO 150 E gearbox, complete with a dust cuff attached. Repairing it is simplicity itself - all you need to do is loosen a few screws, give the entire unit a thorough cleaning, and apply some lubricating grease to the moving parts. To install the Dustplate, simply push it firmly onto the Spindle. I had to have this gearbox repaired twice by a Festool authorized dealer, with each repair costing me 250 euros. Those days are now behind me, thanks to my trusty 3D printer.
