Festool MFT DIY Drilling Jig
thingiverse
I found the idea of J-Max for a drilling jig https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2079995 good in order to create a MFT table so I printed his design. But there was too much clearance for me as a MFT table need to be as square as possible to use all of its uses. Here's a new one I created, with an integrated drill guide, I also removed the half dog which I wouldn't use. The holes are 20.1mm and the drill guide is 10.15mm. I've tested multiple BenchDog and with my setup I found the 20mm to suit my needs the most, really tight in both the jig and the hole created by the forstner bit. The bit need to be put in the hole before clamped to the drill The photo doesn't match exactly the file as the photo is my V1 and the file the V2 but I've didn't printed it because I realised my forstner bit was too cheap to drill a MFT Table and considering the price of either a good forstner bit or a good router bit I choose the last one. I'll make a jig for the Makita RT0700C. Please use a good 20mm forstner bit and watch J-Max's video : https://youtu.be/jPsG3_LmaVI
