Festool MFT/3 Bench Dog 20mm
thingiverse
I built bench dogs with EPA foam tops for my MFT/3 workbench. The dogs were made because my MFT/3 MDF top had sagged a bit, causing cuts that weren't coming out square. I designed these low-profile dogs so the work piece could rest on them, eliminating off-square cuts. As a bonus, they protect the table top by lifting the work piece off the surface. I've also found them useful for making rip cuts on my MFT without worrying about cutting the dogs - they're sacrificial. I use 25mm x 5mm EVA self-adhesive foam pads (https://www.bunnings.com.au/surface-gard-25mm-anti-skid-pads-16-pack_p3970383) to hold the work piece when cutting. They work well and do their job nicely.
