My trusty Festool Kapex crosscut saw took a minor hit from a small piece of wood, causing the rubber pad to come loose and the clamp holding it in place to snap.\r\nI took matters into my own hands, designing a replacement part using Fusion 360's powerful tools and printing it out in durable PLA plastic. A year later, it's still performing flawlessly.\r\n\r\nTo get the best results, I recommend printing with a resolution of at least 0.2 or 0.3 mm, and making sure to achieve 100% infill for maximum stability.
