Festool domino offset guide remix
thingiverse
this guide is great ! thanks to 3DDIY for its design. I printed it, but the center flexed sideways slightly (maybe my printing settings, etc), but i redesigned it so that when you draw a line, your pencil point is exactly at the 10 mm mark (make sure you have a sharp pencil).his video shows eactly how to use it; with mine, same as his, line up the CENTER LINES (horizontal and vertical), REDRAW lines on the other edge of the guide (again both horizontal and vertical), and that is where you will place the FACE EDGE of the festool, to cut the domino.NOTE - print with TEXT DOWN. I printed at 0.2 mm layer height, and color change in layer 3 thru 5. AND, print with LETTERS FACE DOWN. reason, that edge is tapered (9 mm instead of 10), and the TOP layers are the EXACT 10 mm layers, no first-layer squishing on teh bed, etc. on my print, after printing, it measured exactly 9.98 mm ! I don't think i can get better than thatAgain, htanks to 3DDIY
