Festool Domino DF500 to “Dust Right Flexiport” hose adapter

This adapter connects the Festool Domino DF500 to a Rockler "Dust Right FlexiPort Power Tool Hose Kit" available at Rockler retail stores or at the Rockler website. The adapter locks onto the Festool D27 dust port on one side, and screws into the Rockler hose on the other side. The adapter rotates to prevent kinks and reduce resistance to movement from the attached hoses. ##Printing: Parts can be printed with the base sides down. Support will be needed only for the elevated bottom of the hose connector. I suggest PETG for at least the Domino connector because PETG offers a little bit of flex that makes connecting with the D27 port smoother. ##Assembly: When gluing the collar in place, I suggest you place glue (I used epoxy) only onto the mating edges of the hose end, not onto the collar itself. This allows you to slide the glue away from where the mating faces need to rotate freely as you assemble. I would also suggest that you apply wax liberally onto the two mating component faces to maximize smooth rotation. Be sure to rotate the component as you glue it up--it should be snug yet rotate freely. ##Attribution for Remixes: Since Thingiverse still hasn't fixed the remix search tool function, I give credit where it is due: Mikulas posted a SCAD model of an adapter for a 27mm Festool port, but the internal locking tabs were too wide to attach to my Domino DF500. I reduced the locking tab arcs from 45° to 42° which made for a nice tight locking fit.
