Festool 90 degree angle stop
pinshape
This is an absolute must-have accessory for every Festool enthusiast. The tracksaw angle stop for 90-degree cuts is essential, and this particular design fits perfectly into the FS1400 track with two M5x7mm pinol screws securely fastened in place. To ensure a snug fit, I printed the part at 0.16mm layer height instead of the standard 0.2mm, which allowed for better tread detail on the pinol screw holes. However, even with this adjustment, the print still required some gentle heat to secure it tightly into position. For optimal results, it's recommended to print this accessory directly onto a surface, as shown in the attached images, to maximize strength and stability. Additionally, I employed supports during printing to prevent any potential warping or distortion. The entire printing process took approximately 7 hours, 55 minutes, and 50 seconds, using 0.2mm PLA filament. While I plan to experiment with ABS for even greater durability in the future, this setup has proven to be more than sufficient so far.
