I built a pencil holder on SolidWorks for an engineering class project, employing sub-assemblies that get put together and finalized afterwards. To assemble it, I used SolidWorks' sub-assembly features to create each individual component separately before bringing them together in the assembly mode, finishing the entire product once everything is properly integrated.
