A Ferris wheel is an amusement park ride, consisting of a large circular structure with multiple passenger-carrying gondolas attached to the rim. Passengers board the gondolas at ground level and are then lifted up to the top of the wheel, providing panoramic views of the surrounding area before being lowered back down. The Ferris wheel was invented in 1893 by George Washington Gale and has since become a popular attraction at carnivals, fairs, and amusement parks around the world.
