Ferrex strimmer blades
thingiverse
I designed these blades to fit my Ferrex GDRT26 cordless strimmer. My aim was to be able to print them with no support or brim to reduce print time and waste. I initially printed them in PETG and they cut very well but I found they cracked or shattered when they came into contact with the brick and stone lawn edging I have. I now print them in TPU and find they cut very well and cope with contacting the brick and stone edging. They wear down a lot slower and I'm able to do about twice as much edge trimming as compared to the original blades. I print them in white TPU so I can see the spinning blades better against the grass.
