DESCRIPTION: This is a very detailed 3D model of the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO serial number 3767GT. HISTORY: 3767GT left the factory on July 26th in 1962 and was delivered to David Piper. He then raced it in 1962 and 1963, finishing first in the nine-hour Kyalami race. In 1963, Ed Cantrell bought it from David Piper, and he kept racing it until the end of 1964. Today, it belongs to Sir Anthony Bamford. The car is a 250 GTO Series I chassis with a 250 Colombo engine producing 300bhp. This 250 GTO features Borrani rims, Avon CR6 ZZ tires, Marchal headlights and other authentic parts. FEATURES: Polygonal model (quads and tris) originally created in 3ds Max is extremely detailed. Default, V-Ray, and mental ray materials are included. The model has real-world scale, set to metric units in centimeters and is positioned just above the ground. Proper quad modeling is utilized, allowing for any resolution level and close-ups, with this model being more than 99.7% quad. No ngons used. 39 separate objects are grouped together for proper scene positioning: doors, interior, wheels etc. Each of these main objects has been meticulously detailed and rendered extremely closely to the real car (even small bolts have been modeled). All textures, objects, and materials in this model are uniquely named and offer exceptional performance with high-definition rendering. This includes 56 separate textures with resolutions ranging from 256x256 to 16384x16384 used for bodypaint and decals (separate textures and blend material so they can be easily hidden within 3ds Max), gauges, emblems, bolts etc. A dedicated zip file containing psd files for the bodypaint color and other custom parts is also included. The 250 GTO features an extremely accurate rendering of authentic Ferrari emblems and small decals redrawn in Photoshop. This model offers excellent value due to its extremely detailed quad modeling and performance with any render setting required.
