This detailed 3D model features a 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO serial number 3757GT. The car left the factory in June 1962 and was sold to Jacques Swaters for Ecurie Francorchamps, it finished third overall at the 24-hour Le Mans, as well as the Tour de France. It has an impressive race history in 1962, 63, and 64 but after finishing seventh overall at the 2000km Daytona race, it was worn out and collected mostly did-not-finishes. The car is a 250 GTO Series I chassis, fitted with a 250 Colombo engine producing 300 horsepower. This model was originally created in 3ds Max, and includes default, V-Ray, and mental ray materials. It is scaled to real-world size in metric units, with the car placed near or above ground level. This 3D model has several features, including polygonal modeling using quads and tris. It has a high level of detail, with small bolts modeled precisely. All main objects are grouped for proper positioning, with no isolated vertices or overlapping faces. The model includes 39 objects in the scene, with 14 multi-materials used throughout. There are 43 textures included, ranging from 256x256 to 16384x16384 resolution.
