DESCRIPTION: This is a highly detailed 3D model of the legendary 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO serial number 3505GT. HISTORY: This 250 GTO is chassis number 3505GT and was built specifically for the famous Stirling Moss. Although Moss never actually drove the car in competition, it has a significant race history with numerous wins. 3505GT also competed in the prestigious 1962 24 Hours of Le Mans, although it unfortunately failed to finish due to mechanical issues. The car stands out among other 250 GTOs thanks to its distinctive lime-green livery. The car is a Serie I 250 GTO chassis. It is powered by a 250 Colombo engine that produces an impressive 300 horsepower. The car features original parts, including Borrani rims, Avon CR6 ZZ tires and Marchal headlights. These components have been carefully recreated to ensure maximum accuracy and realism. FEATURES: This highly detailed 3D model was originally created in 3ds Max using a combination of quads and tris. Default, V-Ray and mental ray materials are included, with the model scaled to real-world size in metric units (cm) for accurate placement above or near the ground. Proper quad modeling allows for any level of resolution and close-ups, making this model more than 99.7% quad. No ngons are used, ensuring a flawless geometry. All major objects (doors, interior, wheels, etc.) are grouped for easy scene navigation. There are 37 separate groups in total. The model is designed with extreme detail and accuracy, with even small bolts and details meticulously recreated. The scene contains no isolated vertices, overlapping vertices or faces, guaranteeing perfect rendering quality. There are 14 multi-materials used in the scene, each with submaterials for maximum flexibility. Textures are instanced and materials are instanced within different multi-materials, allowing users to easily hide decals or make other adjustments as needed. A total of 41 PNG-format textures are included, ranging from 256x256 to 16384x16384 resolutions. These textures cover the bodypaint and decals (with separate textures and blend materials for easy customization), gauges, emblems, bolts, and more. Textures, objects, and materials are carefully named for clarity and ease of use, making this model perfect for high-definition renders or other specialized applications. All original stickers from the car have been redrawn in Photoshop at higher resolutions and included in the scene. Additional zip files containing PSD files for bodypaint colors and decals are also provided, allowing users to customize their render as needed. Renders were created using 3ds Max 2013 with V-Ray 2.4. Press the zoom button on the previews to access high-resolution images. Note: The rendering scenes are not included in this version.
