Fermented vegetables stamper

Fermented vegetables stamper

I'm Preserving Some Veggies with a Bit of Spice! I'm in the process of making some tasty fermented vegetables - carrots with paprika and chili peppers, and cabbage with some fruits thrown in for good measure. To start, I finely chop up all the ingredients, then mix them together before filling them into jars. Now, let's talk about what happens during fermentation. When carbohydrates break down, they release carbon dioxide, causing the mixture to rise in mass. It's a pretty cool process! I use this clever stamper every day to pack veggies tightly into my jars. The stamper fits snugly inside the jar's neck, which has an inner diameter of 66-70mm. Given that size constraint, I designed the stamper with a diameter of 65mm and a height of 135mm - just the right fit!
