Ferdinand The Bull
thingiverse
Introducing Ferdinand, the character from "Ferdinand the Bull" tale, depicted as a 1/8-inch thick cardboard moving puppet measuring 24 inches long and 12 inches wide. This intriguing creation features six 5/8-inch posts and is crafted by Dana Heng. To assemble this fascinating figure, print the design on a laser cutter. Slide the large silhouette's circle into the back slot and the larger oval into the middle slot. Place the head piece in the front slot of the silhouette. Attach one flank piece to the slots provided by the circle and oval. Assemble the front legs and back legs with posts and attach them to the flank. Repeat the process for the other side. To complete, fasten the tail with a post and affix the nose ring. This remarkable puppet was used in a moving shadowbox display where Ferdinand sits beneath a cork tree. With a string pull, he ferociously jumps up and waggles his limbs, mimicking his reaction to being stung by a bee in the story.
