Here’s a sneak peek at our playable character in Feral - a game-changer when it comes to first-person animal experiences. We faced a daunting task in crafting a top-notch 1st person animal rig, but we persisted, fueled by the game's core concept of embodying a beast. Since we had limited references to draw from, we threw caution to the wind and iterated relentlessly until our character was a blast to move around with. The base model, rig, and animations were masterfully handled by Mickael Verbeke, while I took care of polishing the model and adding textures. Want to give it a spin?
