FEP Roll Clean
thingiverse
Hi guys, newbie SLA printer here. I've had failed prints that stick to the FEP, and instead of scraping the fep to try and pop them off, I decided to come up with something that lets me roll the reservoir over and pop them off easily. I designed this for my Anycubic photon, but it may fit other SLA reservoirs too. So here it is, some assembly required. I bought a set of small paint rollers from the £1 store because I needed the clean metal bar and small rollers. You just need to cut the roller and bar to length. The paint roller should be about 80mm long, and the bar around 114mm. Since all £1 store paint rollers are different, you'll have to experiment with spacers to make it work for you. I've included three different sizes so that it fits snug and allows the reservoir to roll across it smoothly. A warning: I created this holder to let you choose different high offsets, allowing you to adjust pressure. However, it's up to your own judgment as to how much pressure you want to apply across your FEP. I won't take responsibility for people pressing too hard or using a tougher roller than the sponge one I chose and damaging their FEP. You'll need to print two spacers and either one or two roller inner parts. Hopefully, we all get great prints and never need this, but I'm being realistic.
