Either you dislike something or you want to do it another way; whatever the case may be, if you can produce better results and make a task simpler, that's a good reason to go for it. This was also true when I replaced the FEP sheet on my Wanhao Duplicator 7 vat. When I read the instructions, it seemed like I would need three hands or more. Many people had complained about failed experiences, so I thought to myself: "It will happen to me too!" Well, let's get prepared. The attached template is used to mark the position of holes on FEP that are required to stretch the sheet tight like a drum. The position is not exactly where the holes in the vat are, but slightly shifted 1 mm away from the center - actually from the symmetry axis; if you want to be more exact, you can do some math and find more accurate positions. Use a permanent marker to outline the holes. Make sure a line is still visible on the FEP sheet since it's not friendly with liquids, and that's why this usage makes sense. After marking, use a punching tool with a 4 mm diameter to make the holes in the FEP sheet. Then take each screw, pass it through the frame hole first, then through the corresponding hole in the FEP sheet. Don't mind if it doesn't look nice - it shouldn't... yet. When all screws are in place, put the entire assembly over the bottom of the vat and give each screw one turn into its own hole. Afterwards, just tighten everything as seen in other tutorials.
