pinshape
Reviewing the Fennekin color scheme allows you to break down major colors into manageable pieces, enabling successful color printing. Print Settings: numerous failed prints were necessary to achieve this result. Her head-heavy design requires attention to infill settings for balance and stability. Fennekin-Body.stl - Yellow at 20% infill, no support needed, as the printer struggled with feet and Meshmixer support; a modified version, Fennekin-Body-Lozenge.stl, was created to place an oval piece in the middle and print better legs. Fennekin-Ear-Left.stl & Fennekin-Ear-Right.stl - Red at 10% infill, use support for optimal results. Fennekin-Eyes.stl - Red at 10% infill, no support or brim necessary; enamel model paint was used to create the pupils. Fennekin-Head-Bottom.stl - White at 10% infill with support required for stability. Fennekin-Head-Crown.stl - Yellow at 10% infill with support needed for structural integrity. Fennekin-Tail-Base.stl - Yellow at 50%+ infill, no support necessary; higher infill acts as a counterweight to balance the head's weight. Fennekin-Tail-Tip.stl - Red at 50%+ infill, no support required; like the base, higher infill helps counterbalance the head's weight. For assembly visuals, click here.
