Fender-style guitar volume/tone knob

We desperately needed tone and volume knobs for an old bass guitar that had been generously given to us. This was meticulously designed from scratch by studying numerous classic Fender guitar knobs and developing the model using Autodesk Inventor. Dimensions and angles were precisely measured from pictures, resulting in a surprisingly accurate replica. The knobs fit perfectly onto the standard 6mm / 0.24" potentiometer shaft commonly found on many guitars. To our surprise, modeling a keyway was unnecessary since it didn't impact the functionality of the knobs. Feel free to adjust the scaling if you prefer a tighter or looser fit on your guitar. Printer Settings: Printed using: BQ Hephestos (Prusa I3 clone) Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Experiment with various resolutions, 0.2 or smaller produces excellent results Infill: For maximum strength, we highly recommend a 100% infill, as this part is extremely lightweight and uses only a few grams of filament. Notes: This design prints incredibly quickly, taking less than 10 minutes to complete. The resulting fit on the guitar is remarkably precise, with beautifully textured knurling that surpassed our expectations. Please refer to the images for visual confirmation, although they barely do justice to its true appearance.
