Fender Sonoran Compensated Sadde - Extra tall
thingiverse
Fender Sonoran compensated saddle: Extra Tall. My Fender Sonoran was plagued by a terrible fret buzz after three years of ownership. I discovered that the problem was caused by a warped neck with a significant backbow. After adjusting the truss-rod to its maximum setting, the fret buzz didn't completely disappear. So I took matters into my own hands and fixed it by 3D printing a taller saddle. And it works surprisingly well, at least for a novice guitarist like myself. The guitar sounds better than ever before, and despite a tad too much string height, it's far better than the dreadful fret-buzz it used to have. This saddle is designed to be significantly taller. This allows for fine-tuning with a file or rotary-tool after 3D printing. Therefore, 100% infill should be used; otherwise, you'd end up with thin air, after filing away on this thing.
