Fender Jazz Bass Finger Ramp and Thumb Rest
thingiverse
This is a custom finger ramp that fits 1970s Fender Jazz Basses, secured by the pick guard screws. The ramp performs best when it's sanded to a smooth finish. It's designed as two separate parts to minimize printing issues with supports. I have a single-part file available, but I was unable to print it properly and may post it if requested. Note: This finger ramp is specifically made for Fender Jazz Basses with the original 1970s pickup spacing. The models that fit this criteria include those produced from 1972 to 1981, as well as the Marcus Miller Signature model, the Geddy Lee Signature model, the 50th anniversary Jazz Bass, and the American Vintage reissues of '74 and '75. Update: On April 4th, I uploaded a modified version designed for standard Jazz Basses. It's now available in a single part upon request. Since I don't own one of these basses, please inform me if any adjustments are necessary. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Hictop Prusa i3 Rafts: No rafts were used. Supports: No supports were applied. Resolution: The print resolution was set to 0.15mm. Infill Percentage: The infill percentage was 20%.
