Fencing 2-Prong Body Cord Housing

Fencing 2-Prong Body Cord Housing

This standard 2-Prong body cord housing is specifically designed for use in the USA with Foil and Sabre equipment. It's a cost-effective solution for repairing club gear, as printing both sides of the design costs approximately $0.17. I won't be competing with this design or any other 3D printed plastic fencing parts. For attaching the clip, I recommend using one that comes pre-assembled with a Favero body cord. The included file is designed for bendable clips, not those with springs. While it will work, its lifespan is limited and it's already finished, but I'm not fully satisfied with the outcome. This page will be updated as new designs are developed. It's worth noting that both prong holes are identical in size, which may cause a slight looseness in the actual prongs. Rest assured, they're securely attached and the housing won't strain the wire even if it's pulled on. I've assembled this design onto one of my body cords and plan to test its performance over several months, starting from February 10th, 2019.
