Fence post spike adapter
thingiverse
I Made an Adapter to Fit a Spike into a Fence Post. The first photo shows what I'm replacing, while the second photo displays the two printed parts, and the third shows the parts in position on the spike, followed by the fourth showing the final product installed. In case you're curious, the spike is part of a device that combines motion detection with a water sprinkler. I use it to keep blackbirds away from my pool because they insistently deposit their baby's droppings in the pool otherwise. I've seen similar spikes on solar yard lamps; with some adjustments to the parts, they would probably work. That's why I included the OpenSCAD 3D code for reference.
