Feminine Sculpture

Feminine Sculpture

myminifactory

This sculpture of a woman can be found in various archaeological regions across Costa Rica. Contrary to popular belief, women are often depicted with their hands under their breasts; however, they also appear as trophy-heads, animal-heads, body modifications, or in leadership positions. This object is part of "Scan The World", a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory that aims to create a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the world for public access at no cost. Scan The World is an open-source, community-driven effort, and individuals with interesting items nearby are encouraged to contribute; those interested in participating can email stw@myminifactory.com to learn more about how they can help.
