In Groboto, an intricately designed model has a patina inspired by Cosmo Wenman's work (http://www.cosmowenman.com/AlternateRealityPatinas.html). The fembot print began early in the morning with a smooth first layer, but upon return, it was noticed that the results weren't ideal. Instead of canceling and reprinting, faux patina was tested to conceal imperfections. To ensure successful printing, support is necessary for the wings, head area, and small robot arms.
