Female Hose Fitting

A female fitting is designed for attaching to a 3/4" GHT threaded garden hose, thanks to http://www.thingiverse.com/billybob. Users http://www.thingiverse.com/bluemetal have tested the threads and reported successful results. The fitting accommodates up to a 2.5mm thick rubber washer for sealing purposes. This model can be merged with other objects, possibly to create a plant sprayer or even a printable lawn sprinkler as proposed by http://www.thingiverse.com/supermange. It's important to note that the files were created in SolidEdge and are available in native or other file formats upon request. The designer is open to suggestions for any desired adaptations. Three models are provided: a basic cap for testing seals under pressure, a 10mm outlet with a 5mm chamfer at the upstream end, and a .5 PVC fitting for 1/2 inch PVC pipe. Each model is currently untested in versions 2 and 3, but feedback on printed objects is encouraged to improve future designs. The earlier version was successfully raftless, without support, if morphed with something else, it may not be feasible. Suggestions for better printability are welcome. Despite three layers of plastic, the fitting wasn't completely watertight; a dip in acetone or ABS cleaner should fix that. 100% infill is recommended for improved results. The designer will keep the status of each part updated.
