Felix the Cat - Laughing, Magnet & Ornament / IEC3D

Happy Birthday to Felix the Cat! Since Felix is now an impressive 95 years young and available for public use since his copyright expired at midnight last night, we're excited to release a fantastic collection of Felix the Cat designs. Felix's comic strip has been entertaining readers since 1923, but did you know that he first appeared as "Master Tom" in a silent short film called "Feline Follies" back in 1919? You can check out this classic cartoon on the internet archive at https://archive.org/details/FelixTheCat-FelineFollies1919. We've created an array of whimsical Felix designs, including a whistling Felix, a laughing Felix, and an original Felix. We'll be uploading even more in the next few hours, so stay tuned! Take a look at our group photo to see all the fun we had creating these fantastic designs. To create your own Felix the Cat fridge magnet and ornament, start by printing with a 10mm x 3mm magnet that you can purchase on Amazon in packs of 100 for about $10. Simply glue the magnet inside the hole in the back using super glue or Goop from Home Depot. We've also added an ornament hook so you can hang your Felix on your Christmas tree or wall. When printing, be sure to change the filament color after you see that the side-to-side printing of the background (base) is completed and the outline of Felix has finished one or two layers. And don't forget to add a thru-hole through the top of the ornament hook so you can use thread or fishing line to hang your Felix. We hope you enjoy our Felix the Cat collection, and we wish you a Happy New Year from the IEC3dDesignWorks team!
