You need to find a hot end nozzle lighting solution that fits perfectly outside the way for your Felix 3.0 or 3.1 printer? Print these two easy-to-make LED strip light holders. They utilize standard LED strips (60 LEDs per meter) with snipped out three units and soldered leads connected to the + and - terminals. Just connect them to the 12V power output on the extruder fan. Print Settings: Rafts: None Resolution: 0.2 mm Supports: Yes Infill: 40% You'll want to print these in ABS as the area near the extruders gets extremely hot. In slic3r, select supports with a 60-degree support angle to create sufficient supports. Post-Printing Mounting There are two easy-to-install LED mounts. The front one uses the plain LED holder, and the rear one utilizes the LED holder with mounting hole projections. The front LED holder needs only the removal of the protective tape from its self-adhesive strip and it can be easily mounted inside the printer's housing between the wiring of each dual extruder. For optimal results, first wrap the LED strip over the lip, then press the strip into place within the holder. The rear LED holder requires a short 4mm PTFE tubing as a screw shim. Insert the tubing into an unused center extruder assembly mounting hole at the top of the printer's base and secure with a short screw (4mm or better shaft width). Finally, place the LED strip inside the holder.
