Feiyue FY03 MG995 Servo Mod ========================== This vertical adapter fits the Feiyue FY03 to TowerPro MG995 or similar servos of the same size. To install, mark out and drill/melt three new holes in the car's base for this new steering servo mount. Various PC screws, the screw, brass ring that come with the MG995, and a single washer are used. Freecad saves are included. Important notes: You might need to scale or trim the steering arm hole that fits onto the ball joint of the original steering to prevent speed wobbles while driving. * EDITS * 11/05/17 The servo was not working correctly due to its position and because the original steering arm/link was 10mm too short. A new steering arm/link model has been added, along with its Freecad save. 11/14/17 Photos have been added showing parts mounted on the car. Sorry for the poor quality taken with a phone camera. 12/10/17 An updated version has been released, which braces the servo against the front shock mounts, making the steering more rigid and providing mounting points in the center of the car for future mods to be released soon. 12/19/17 A new servo mount (aka v2) that better fits the shape of the car's floor, plus a servo brace that fits on top of the front shocks have been added.
