To resolve this problem, I created these convenient feet that screw directly into existing frame screws. Simply use slightly longer screws and they securely snap into place. This modification also elevates the printer's base, providing more space for the nest of wires connecting to the board - a welcome relief in the cramped maker edition compared to the metal version.
