Feet for Motorola GM Series Remote Head
thingiverse
I needed to place my GM360's remote display on my desk, however the mount is designed specifically for screwing into something solid. Therefore, I came up with a solution - designing a pair of feet that engage with a friction-fit through the screw holes and allow the display head to stand upright without toppling over. In my particular situation, my 3D printer consistently produces circles slightly larger than they should be - while I originally designed the model to have a diameter of 5.5mm, the actual measurement on the radio came out to be 5.75mm. If the feet end up being too small for your specific use case, you can easily resize the model or apply a tiny drop of glue to the posts to widen them slightly and achieve a better fit. Alternatively, you could also attach rubber feet to the bottom for extra stability. To hold the radio head's position on my desk, I opted to use blu-tak instead.
