Feet for Didiesse Frog coffee machine

I crafted these custom foot designs specifically for the "Didiesse Frog Collection" coffee machine - also known as the "Frog Revolution." My primary motivation was to reduce the excessive noise generated by my own coffee maker during use. With these two designs, I successfully mitigated some of that noise. Although I don't own other coffee machines from this brand, it appears that my designs could work well for others based on what's visible online. I created two distinct models: Coffee and Cover_cof. The Coffee model is the second iteration and a direct copy of the original foot design. You can print it out and swap it in to replace the existing one. The Cover_cof model, on the other hand, is a simple cover that can be attached to the standard machine's foot. By implementing both designs across all four feet, I was able to lower the noise level by roughly 5 Db. For maximum noise reduction (around 10 Db less), I recommend using TPU for printing. If you only need to replace one or two feet, PLA might suffice. Both models were printed with a 15-20% infill rate and a gyroid pattern. To measure the noise difference, I utilized a sound level meter app available on Google Play. While it's not extremely precise, it gave me a ballpark figure for the variation in noise levels. Here are my findings: Normal operating conditions: 70 Db Standard foot + Cover_cof: 65 Db My Cof design alone: 59 Db My Cof with Cover_Cof: 54 Db Please note that these values are approximate, and I'll strive to conduct more precise measurements in the future. If you've found my designs helpful, kindly share your feedback below - especially if you've tried them out!
