FeelFree unibar replacement lock

UPDATE: Avoid using this file for now! The latch face is angled slightly off, causing it to release with force and, worse still, still having cracking issues with the flex hinge. I'm actively working on design changes as we speak, so I hope to have a new design ready for you soon. Replacement arm lock/mount bracket designed specifically for the FeelFree kayak unibar. This part needs to be flexible at the hinge point, so print it in a suitable material - I used ABS but PETG/nylon/poly-carbonate would be even better. PLA won't work as it's too rigid and brittle, and the flex lock may snap off easily. The stock file is for a right-hand bracket. If you need a left-hand bracket, mirror it in your slicing software. This design was created with ABS in mind, so you might need to reduce its size by a few percent if printing from another material. Once printed, you may also need to make some final adjustments with a file to get it to fit nicely (initially mine was a bit too tight, but after running it up and down the track a few times it loosened off nicely). Print instructions: Rotate the part to print in the orientation shown in the photo. This is crucial for strength and ensuring the flex joint works properly - you'll need supports. Use any infill pattern you like (I used 50%) but be sure to print with five perimeters to ensure the flex hinge is solid and all lines within it are parallel. Layer height isn't critical, but I recommend using 0.2mm for best results.
