19/09/2019 UPDATE: V4 cleat now grips rudder cord securely throughout use, thanks to updated parameters that improve performance with thin diameter cords. Initial testing has been successful and fingers crossed it's reliable enough. Remixed from 22steve22's design, as I opted to adapt rather than recreate the teeth myself. This modification replaces the standard rudder cleat on the Feel Free lure, but will fit other models as well. After one year of use, my original cleat began to strip its teeth, prompting me to create this upgraded version. Getting the optimal settings for a perfect print may require some trial and error, but the end result is well worth the effort. I printed mine in ABS, but other materials should work fine; just be sure to set your printer to 0.1 - 0.2mm layer thickness and use "build plate only" for the main arch to achieve a smooth print without supports.
