Feeding Door for Red Sea diy aquarium net cover
thingiverse
I designed this feeding door for my Red Sea DIY net cover, frustrated by constantly lifting it with one hand while feeding fish. It seamlessly slots into the rails, securing in place with a dab of hot glue to prevent any movement. A little extra care was needed to ensure the spline fit perfectly within the aluminum rail's channel. Unfortunately, the curve of the design made it difficult for my roller tool to access the channel, requiring me to use a small screwdriver to press the spline into place. To print this door, I recommend using supports from the bed only, with the channel facing upwards and what will become the top surface against the printer bed. The lid prints without any supports needed.
