I'm building an open-source filament extruder, inspired by Bender24601's design. To start, I use a 16mm wooden drill bit with two 6203 2RSC3 bearings housed in a simple bearing block. A standard wiper motor powers the operation, and for melting plastic, I've drilled a 3mm hole into a glue gun nozzle - it works surprisingly well so far! Stay tuned for an upcoming video demonstration.
