A featherboard, functional for various fixturing tasks, is particularly beneficial in woodworking with tools such as table saws, router tables, and shapers. The removable pads prevent part delamination from the build platform; upon removal, they leave a clean edge. Utilize 0.25" bolts or screws to secure constant pressure while sliding workpieces by it. Print at medium settings using Makerware with parameters of 15% infill, 5 skins, and 0.2mm layers. Alternatively, a version without pads is available for custom printing methods.
